Description

’Perseids’ is a knitted lace shawl, based around a stylised shooting star design for the main body, with a simple moss stitch border.

The shawl has a half-hap style construction, with the central triangle knitted bottom-up, with the border added by picking up stitches along the edge. The design includes garter stitch, some twisted stitches on the main body, and moss stitch on the border.

It’s very cosy using the recommended yarn, and has some nice textural interest. It would easily scale down to a smaller shoulder shawl with one skein of 4-ply/fingering, and I’ve included tips on how to do that.
