Body Care

Just like our yarn, our bath and body products are made from high quality raw materials, with the same care and attention to environmental concerns that you would expect from Triskelion.

We use organic and fair trade raw materials where they’re available, and all of our raw materials are obtained from sustainably managed sources. No palm oil is used in Triskelion products. We make extensive use of unrefined shea butter in our products (it really is that good!) and we source this from a Fairtrade women’s cooperative in Ghana.

We us synthetic detergents (‘syndets’) in our cleansing bars and shampoos, which are fully biodegradable – no SLS! They’re extremely mild detergents derived from coconut and rapeseed oils, and are Ecocert certified.

Our packaging is fully biodegradable and/or recyclable. Our soaps are packaged in glassine paper, and our more ‘mobile’ products are supplied in aluminium tins or glass bottles.

We are absolutely against animal testing. The only animals our products are tested on are humans, and we only buy raw materials from suppliers who are also against animal testing. Other than a couple of lines, our products are also vegan – we use beeswax in one hand balm and in our forthcoming solid fragrances.

All of our products are analysed, tested where necessary, and certified by qualified cosmetics chemists, and are registered with the EU’s cosmetics portal. We are fully compliant with EU law and IFRA guidelines.
